Trooper Station: Wednesday
It was your typical day at the Trooper Station. Or you know, typical when everything starts going crazy in town. Because that's when the phones start ringing from numerous people on the island to complain.
Unfortunately for Vic, she wasn't able to avoid phone duty today.
"Yes. Thank you for informing me about the evil fog surrounding the island," she said in bored flat tones. "I hadn't heard about it at all. Or notice it walking to the office this morning. Yes, we know Leland Gaunt is evil and the teal deer are getting rabid. What should you do? Stay indoors until it gets taken care of. Yes. I'll be happy to file your complaint."
She hung up quickly without bothering to take down any information only for the phone to start ringing immediately.
She sighed and picked up the phone to start the whole process over again.
It was going to be a long day.

Of course, she was still new here. "Do you know where we keep warrants?" Jessica checked. "I'm gonna make a play for Leland Gaunt, but I want to go by the book." She realized that it was entirely possible that Fandom had never used a warrant before.

She looked at the phone she was holding, shrugged and put it down on the desk so the NPCitizen could keep blabbing on about the fog.
"So the Leland guy is some kind of magical d-bag, right? Do you think a warrant going to make him give up quietly?" she asked while taking a gulp of coffee. "Or are we going to have to get some kind of wizard on the payroll? Like that Barry Plodder guy."

"Who has to sign these things anyway? We don't have any judges here or anything."
