Anders felt physically well by now, and the clinic seemed to have things well in hand, so he went to work today. He avoided the things with actual power, though. There were still too many bad associations left from falling under Gaunt's thrall for him to be cavalier about using -- or even being close to -- most magic.

He spent most of the day lingering by the counter, watching cat videos on his phone. They were entertaining and therapeutic.
