It seemed relatvely quiet in town. Either people were still mourning their dead, or they were still afraid to go out and find out what the island was going to throw at them next. Jack wouldn't have blamed them either way.
For him, it was a relatively normal work day. He sent a few extra jokey texts to try to make Emma smile, but otherwise there was the usual business of handling Eric's plentiful paperwork, refereeing the latest argument between Tiny and the DJ, and occasionally even mixing a drink.
