The Devil's Nest, Thursday Evening

There was a sign up at the bar tonight that proclaimed it ladies night. Which probably wasn't as much of a lure on this island as others, but it was still up.

And Derek was giving it a disgruntled look.

He should probably mention drink specials or shirtless bartenders on there, but he'd leave that up to Jack when he got there. Since the shirtless part had been all his idea. For now, he took up a spot behind the bar and glared at the DJ. Not because he did anything yet, but just on principle.

Jack was shirtless despite the icon, and looking very pleased with himself when he got to the bar.

"I see we're incredibly busy," he said, going to stand next to Derek behind the bar. "But it's early yet."

"Or no one likes mixed drinks." Derek was betting on that being the reason.

"The sign doesn't say anything about mixed drinks," Jack pointed out kindly.

Jack wasn't even sure he agreed with himself on that one.

"My prediction is that this is going to be a sausage fest."

Mike shrugged. "Well, maybe if the sign was outside the club, ladies would know to show up for their night."

"Hindsight is twenty-twenty." And Derek was terrible at parties. "I think if I'd had glitter, people would have showed up."

When Stiles heard about ladies knight he spent the money (actually Derek's money) to get a portal to the island. He wasn't a lady but he liked to see Derek grumpy sometimes.

"Hey, your shirt is on."

"You can still ogle Jack and Mike." Don't ogle them. Derek's fragile ego could not handle it.
