"First of all, the texture mix there is completely wrong," Eliot said, glaring at the cook. "The ice cream will just get the things all soggy, and nobody wants that."

"Not if you eat it quickly."

"Secondly," Eliot continued, as though the dishwasher hadn't spoken. "We don't serve pork rinds here. Period."

When the dishwasher tried to protest the pork rind ban, the busboy tried to subtly point at Eliot, spin his finger by the side of his head, and mime weaponized pork rinds.

Eliot growled something about how "that ain't even how it happened" and stalked off to go sulk brood by the lunch counter.
