Jessica was back to normal today. Hair re-dyed red, clothes on, staring at data. Unfortunately, the data she recovered to double check her original coordinates confirmed what she expected. Her world wasn't where it was supposed to be. And neither were a few others.
She knew of one other place connected to her world that was kind of an inter dimensional hub thanks to the Inheritors... But that would be Plan Z. She had other options to work things out. All she had to do was figure them out.
And so she needed some busy work so she could let those options percolate in the background. A quick web pulled a clock off the wall. "Oops. I should probably repair that," she said, just to make it official. Busy work mode on.
