Freedom Arms | Saturday
Delta was having one of his quiet days where York guessed he was thinking about the Alpha and his fellow AI. As much as York acted like Delta was a big inconvenience he kind of hated the quiet that came with it. Still, he didn't want to bother the AI. He figured everybody was allowed to have their off days.
So he went down to the store and put on the local classic rock station and busied himself with cleaning. At least being lonely helped him with his productivity.

He'd come back into town that afternoon in the hopes of finding something that might help him get out of this place. Maybe he'd even share it with Clarke. But maybe not.
A sign caught his eye and he found himself stepping inside to have a look around. His gun was back in the woods again but if this place really did sell weapons, maybe he could stock up before leaving.

"Uh, hi?" What a professional greeting.

"Hi," Bellamy returned slowly. "I'm surprised to see a weapons shop here."
This island was tiny and everyone seemed to shit themselves at the sight or a thought of a gun.

He would have never chosen the name Freedom Arms for it.

Clearly York was the cool parent of the Wash-and-York duo.

Not necessarily true, but pretty good.
"Look, you're not going to go around killing people, are you?"
no subject
Hahahahaha.
"It's a defensive thing," he explained. "New place, new people, unknown threat. So no, I won't go around just lowing people away."

"And you know a bit about guns, right?"

"Look, I get you don't want to stay here but you can't just be sleeping in the woods and having to beg for food," he said. "The store doesn't really have much in the way of customers but I could use someone to look after the place when I can't be here."

"Like a job?" he asked just to make sure.

"If I find a way to leave, I might not show up one day," he warned. "Getting back there is my top priority."

"Then, I'm in," he decided. If he had to be here, he'd take a job in a place where he at least got to be around something that made it less likely that he'd get shot in the back.
