Jessica was working late today. She had everything she needed, including a remote device that should restart this very same portal to bring her back next Monday after her fact finding mission. She had a tether to pull her back immediately in case the world she was going to ended up being way more screwed up than she thought. And she had her costume to disguise her, you know, just in case.
