As much as she hated it, Jessica was finally willing to admit to herself that after a summer of searching other places, she probably wasn't going to find her world. It was gone for some reason. Probably not related to the Sinister Six problem from that dumb running world she was on for a week, but gone nonetheless, much like so many other Earths she checked out. She wasn't going to stop searching, but she was coming to terms with the idea that she wasn't going to find anything.

Helping her come to terms was repairing somebody's RC helicopter. Technically it was on its second repair because the testing process she was putting it through was occasionally grueling. And a lot of fun.
