Eggsy had gotten a cute little sundress for a casual afternoon date; Jalian got Raven mimicking a tube top and miniskirt (aka as little as she could get away with seeming to wear and still be allowed into the restaurant). Really, what else would she be wearing for a date with a co-pro-nudity conspirator?

"You know, I'm not sure I've ever been here for anything but take-out," Raven mused.

Jalian had thought more about her clothes than she possibly ever had before - her usual criteria was "is it clean?" with an occasional side of "do I look good in it?" She'd worried rather more about the second today, before finally throwing up her hands in disgust at herself. It wasn't as though Raven didn't know what she looked like!

So she was in form-fitting white pants that went just past the knee and a matching white halter top, with her hair braided neatly.

Seeing what Raven had gone with, she was wondering if she were overdressed (and was a little envious).

"I haven't," she said. "It's quiet." Compared to the dorms or cafeteria, anyway.

"Most people are probably celebrating the first weekend of the new semester by taking naps or watching tv," Raven guessed. "Just means we have the place to ourselves."

Well, them and the handful of NPCs and the staff, anyway.

"All for us." Jalian grinned. "I feel very important." She stood tall and regal...ish and tried to look snooty. She mostly failed.

Raven laughed. "Please, you'll give me flashbacks to the old Westchester garden parties. Everyone always walked around looking like they smelled something 'distasteful'."

Jalian joined in the laughter. "Like my mother when I was..." she paused, thinking. "Well, most times." She mimicked Ralesh's disapproving face fairly well; she had seen it a lot growing up.

"I suppose it must be a parent thing," Raven said. "I always figured it was a rich lady thing, but it's not as though I had any other sorts around to compare with."

"Then I will never be a parent," Jalian declared. Not that she'd really planned on it, but still. "I don't want to be so angry all the time."

"I suppose it must have some upsides," Raven said. "Though I'm not sure what they'd be." Mostly it just sounded like a hell of a lot of work to her.

Why, she'd be much more likely to abandon her biological children and end up adopting one to manipulate to her own whims. . . .

"Me neither," Jalian agreed. She'd just find them again when they were old enough and turn them into commandos.

They should talk about more fun things, though! "Have you met the new students yet? Ah!" she remembered. "You met with that one with the funny name yesterday? What is he like?"

That wasn't awkward to ask, right?

"Eggsy," Raven said. "You know, I really should ask why he calls himself that." She was hoping that wasn't his real name, yes. "He's pretty fun. Very flirty. Though I'm not sure he wasn't more interested in me when I shifted into a boy for a little while. I also have a new little sib, the boy who always seems to have a drink in his hand. Frank. He I think will fit right in."

"He likes eggs?" Jalian suggested. She frowned faintly at the mention of Frank. "It's good if he'll fit in, but too much drinking is dangerous." On Fandom more than other places, sometimes.
