Fandom Trooper Station, Saturday

It was a surprisingly busy day at the Trooper Station. There was a guy in a Spider-Man costume, a ghost in a different Spider-Man costume, and a soldier wearing a heavily armed alien costume. Jessica needed to talk to some of these people… and ghosts… but first she had to get some paperwork done to sort Speed Demon out since he was currently in a cell being watched by freaking Venom.

While she did that, Ralph made coffee, Peter stopped in the locker room to change into his civvies, and Ben just changed because he was a damn ghost and could do whatever.

[OOC: Open to all cops, criminals, and visitors of either! There are slightly more prisoners in today than usual (one!), so please be mindful of that.]

Visit the troopers, say hi to some Spiders, see what happened to your old desk.

Willy Wonka is really only here for sentimental reasons. He's embracing sentimentality these days. It's a thing. He's also got chocolates if there is anybody at the station who looks like they might want some.

"Do you need any help?" Jessica checked, looking up from her paperwork. The guy didn't seem too concerned about anything, so she didn't think it was an emergency.

"Ah, no," Wonka said. "I was merely reminiscing about the past. There was a trooper... Well. That was long ago." He offered her a Wonka bar anyway. It was one of the chocolates that didn't do much other than be very, very good chocolate. It was the polite thing to do.

"No thanks. I try not to snack on the job and, believe it or not, I actually have some work to do today," Jessica said. But she did have time for some gossip. "So you're here for the reunion and you were sweet on one of the troopers back in the day?"

"There's a reunion?" Wonka said. "I'm here to make sure the candy in town is still grade A Wonka approved!" He showed her the Wonka bar which did, indeed, have an Approved by Wonka! sticker on it.

"The trooper... Well, we had a very special relationship," Wonka explained. "With chocolate."

"Oh! I didn't realize that Wonka was an actual person. It's just been the name of the candy store for as long as I've known it," Jessica said. "Um. I probably don't want to ask anything else about this special relationship, do I?"

She probably didn't, no.

Wonka nodded. "Yes, it's the Fandom branch! It's very special to me. Have you ever had any of the candy from there?"

"I'm not much of a candy person, unfortunately," Jessica admitted. "But I've only heard good things."

Wonka beamed. He didn't really understand 'not a candy person' so he ignored that part. "Excellent!" He took another look around the station. "Well, perhaps I'd better go find the shop. Candy inspections wait for no man! It was lovely seeing the trooper station again!"

"If it helps, I think the shop is right where you left it," Jessica joked. "Enjoy your stay, Mister Wonka, and let me know if theres anything I can do to help. My name is Jessica, and apparently I'm on the clock this weekend."

"Excuse me," Coulson said, walking into the station. "Nice to see you again, Miss Drew. I understand you have a prisoner right now, a James Sanders?"

"You're SHIELD and you're asking about a guy I just arrested 20 minutes ago. Why do I not like where this is going?" Jessica asked.

"Because you shouldn't," Coulson said, putting a transfer order down on her desk. "As Director of SHIELD on my world, I'm doing a favor for the Director of ARMOR on his world. He'll see justice for his crimes there."

"I kind of hate all this alternate reality agency BS," Jessica said, reading through the order. "But it's not like we have a court to try him or jail cells that can hold him, so thanks for getting him out of my hair."

"That's the bad news. Read the third paragraph," Coulson said. "He's stuck here until Monday. I have an ankle monitor for him, though. With it, any kind of time-space anomaly he goes through will suck him into the void until ARMOR can grab him. That includes the causeway. So at least he can roam free without worrying about him too much."

"Ugh. Do what you need to do," Jessica sighed.

James whizzed around the station after Coulson and Flash let him out. "ALLOFYOUSUCKTOOBUTESPECIALLYYOUANDYOUANDYOUBITEMESOHARDEVERYONEI'MOUTTAHERE!"

And then he was gone.

After changing, Peter made his way back into the main station area and took a seat by Jessica's desk. "So you said you've been trying to contact me?"

"Seriously, what happened after you left, Pete?" Jessica asked. "I spent less than a week recovering from my fight with Verna and all of a sudden I can't contact anyone and my world is gone. I thought yours was too."

"Of course not," Peter said. "Battleworld is a lot of things, but it's definitely not easy to get rid of."

"Battleworld?" Ben repeated as he ghosted over. "What on earth is Battleworld?"

"It's... You know, THE world. I know we talked about that," Peter said with complete confidence. "I mean, it still stuns me that someplace like Fandom even exists outside of God Doom's creation, let alone these alternate worlds. It would be heresy to talk about there, so I've always liked finding out more about places outside Battleworld."

"When we brought you here to fight the Inheritors, we picked you up on your Earth. We were in a coffee shop. It wasn't any kind of 'Battleworld,'" Jessica argued.

"Nobody was calling Doctor freaking Doom a god then," Ben said, showing up suddenly. "I don't think he's even technically a doctor."

"I... I really don't know what to say. I remember it... clearly?" Peter said, sounding a little less sure. "Actually, the whole thing is a little hazier than I thought it was."

"So just to make sure, you remember going to school in Fandom and you remember working with us to fight the Inheritors?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, and you died. So let's not pretend me talking about Battleworld is the weird thing," Peter said.

"Your world isn't what Ben and I remember. My world is gone. Completely off the map. I can't get back," Jessica explained. "And now you're telling me that Doctor Doom is the God-Creator of everything.... You know what? When we have a minute, I'm going to scan you to get your dimensional coordinates. And then once we're past all of this stuff here in Fandom, I'm going to check out Battleworld."

"That sounds like it'll go well," Ben said.

"We can talk about that. But just be careful. You don't want anyone working for Baron Osborn to find out, or he'll have to call the Thors," Peter said.

Ben and Jessica stared at each other for a second. "Okay, that whole sentence needs time to settle so let's move on for now," Jessica sighed. "You. Ben. The hell. You died."

"Reunion," Ben said with a shrug. "I never technically made it back here, but I didn't see why not existing again should stop me from coming back. And actually, I'm going to get out of here. It's worth a visit to my old shop to see if I'll come back to life again. Catch up with you guys later."

Jessica turned to Peter to ask what the hell that meant before realizing that was a mistake. She considered talking to the guy who was wearing a symbiote suit. Strike two. "Hey, Ralph, did he just say 'Again?'"

Where James Sanders is being guarded by a big alien-hybrid soldier guy.

"I will give you five thousand dollars to not point any guns or teeth or aliens at me for five minutes so I can escape," James offered.

"I'm not pointing anything at you, Sanders," Flash said. "And you can't just buy me off."

"No, but he is getting out," Coulson said, walking in after talking to Jessica. "He just needs to wear this ankle monitor." He walked it over to the cell and held the monitor out.

Before Flash could react, James sped over to the bars and had it on his ankle. "Done and done now let's get me out."

"Just know that any attempts to tamper with or remove the ankle monitor will suck you into a void until ARMOR on your world retrieves you," Coulson explained. "If you try going through a portal or across the causeway, same thing. You're just stuck here in Fandom until you're picked up on Monday for detention in your own world."

"This is starting to sound a little better," Flash noted, finally standing down and unlocking the cell. "But if you try to pull anything, Sanders, I'll catch you."

"Ugh. You guys suck," James said, PEW-ing out of the cell. He flicked Coulson off and grabbed his crotch at Flash. "SO MUCH."

I may be slow as I do a whole bunch of things, which probably isn't surprising.
