Rooftops of Town, Saturday night
Batman was perched on the corner of a rooftop, watching the town. Waiting for the sound of any kind of disruption that needed intervention.
It was going to be a long night. This certainly wasn't Gotham. It wasn't long before he was even checking in on Justice League frequencies for an excuse to bail.
Nightwing approached silently, not speaking until he was right behind Batman. "You know, nothing's happening tonight. You could just take it easy."
"You're up here too," Batman said.
"Yeah, but I don't think I recognized a single person," Nightwing suggested. "Either people from my two stints here didn't come back, or I have a way worse memory than I thought."
"Probably the latter," Batman prodded before going back to observing.
"I'll be on the other corner," Nightwing said, turning around. "Let me now if you need anything."
[OOC: Open for other people on the rooftops or in need of guest vigilantes!]

"Nostalgia, O," Batgirl said into her comm before she leapt from the rooftop she'd been on. "Nos. Tal. Gia. You do know the word, right?"
She paused to listen, then snorted.
"I thought we agreed we were never speaking of that again, but sure, let's blame it on me practicing on low roofs for so long."
She hopped the gap between rooftops and looked up to realize she had company.
"Oooooooooookay, this was probably more unexpected than it should have been."
Whatever Oracle's comment on that was, she kept her retort to herself.

//Huh,// Oracle's voice came through her earpiece. //At least it's not the disco collar.//
"Well, I stopped at the Perk but they were a little bit busy, and then I took the scenic route," Batgirl answered, mostly succeeding at holding back a snicker. "And, uh . . . surprise?"

Batgirl shook her head. "Let's just say my contacts network isn't what it used to be. People moving on and all."
You never had an actual network of contacts here, Steph.

She glanced at Nightwing. "So how are things in . . . Blüdhaven these days?" Was that where he was lately? Being from a different universe was such confusing fun.

She was mentally fistpumping at guessing correctly, by the way.

Observing the town
[OOC: There's this thing where 6 will make horribly inaccurate observations based on people walking across his field of view. Respond here with what you're doing in the streets below and 6 will make notes]
