Somehow a subscription to Cosmo had started showing up at the store. York blamed Delta for it happening though the AI put up quite an argument against it.

Either way, he wasn't about to throw them away without reading them. Which was why he was learning about ten new ways to please his man right now.

Wash owed York a lot for watching his cats and covering class. Enough that he was still bringing the man coffee.

"You know, I'm not even surprised by this."

"That you're reading Cosmo," Wash replied, setting down a coffee on the counter.

"It was free," he said, putting the magazine now. "What's this for?"

"Well. Thanks anyway." While not discussing why he was unexpectedly pulled away by the project.

"Welcome," he mumbled, taking a hesitant sip of coffee. "It was no big deal."

He was being evaluated for a new position. Which was just a lot of bullshit mind games with the counselor. It was super fun.

Though with rumors of a female Freelancer running around on one of the shit end planets, that might change.

Delta appeared at York's shoulder. He didn't need to say anything to indicate just how very wrong that was.

Delta's shoulders slumped. "I have told you numerous times, York, I do not know where the magazine came from."
