Fandom Post Office, September 29 (Tuesday)

There seemed to be an unusually low number of inquiries today, at least the sort of inquiries that led to Éponine having to research the most obscure and seemingly implausible extradimensional shipping rates this particular post office had at its disposal.

She didn't actually mind that much -- what she found tended to be amusing enough to make up for the annoyance. She just found this lull disquieting, and fully expected some unavoidable and absurd pressing matter to come along and make up for it.

Then she walked into the mailroom and looked up to see vines loaded with bunches of ripe grapes growing across the ceiling.

What? Picking them was a pressing matter. As far as she was concerned, it was a free lunch, and on top of that she certainly wasn't above trying to resell them to any customers who came in.

[OOC: No OCD, open!]
