Kwik Stop Rooftop, Tuesday Afternoon
So yesterday's outing had not gone as planned. Pretty much the opposite, because Kathy was fucking nuts.
Which left Dante worried, and because he was worried, he was angry, and because he was angry, he needed some air.
"Not now," he growled at the cat, as it landed on his head. "Can you just-- What's the matter, kitty, not get your milk fix?"
The cat meowed in annoyance as it landed in his lap, sat down there, and stared up at him balefully. "...No, I don't have food today," he said. "All right? Scratch off."
But apparently the cat had decided it wasn't going anywhere. Dante sighed, reaching up and sliding the hood of his coat over his head.

And she grinned. "Not your cat, right?" Someone definitely sounded amused.

His heart wasn't really into it this time, though, and that was audible.

"I don't know," she said instead. "Can your motorcycle go up the side of a building?"

If this Dante's powers took the same trajectory as his classic counterpart's, sooner or later it would!"It doesn't need to," Dante said. "Goes crazy-fast, you can make some fucked up jumps with it."
Well. If you were Nephilim.

"Maybe you should prove it," he shot back.
It might be a welcome distraction.

"Whenever you're ready to get your butt handed to you, you just let me know." Ringo kept smirking, but honestly she'd never tried racing a motorcycle before. And didn't really know enough about the things to have much of an idea of how fast they could go.

"Got nothing going on now besides dealing with this clingy cat," Dante said.

"Well, if you can pull yourself away..." she teased.

So she grinned. "Then let's go see this motorcycle of yours."

He had to grab the cat and put it aside to get it to go, which kind of hampered his cool exit, but he still pushed off the roof and neatly hit the ground feet-first a moment later.

So-so, Ringo. So-so.
He followed after her a few moments later, decidedly less flashy. He was saving that for further down the line.

"So where's this motorcycle of yours, anyway? It's not like you can keep one in your room or anything." Ha! Another point in favor of AirTrek!

He pointed in the general direction of the parking lot.

"What would I be doing with a motorcycle that far from the road?" he said, wandering onwards. "Barely any room to move, let alone build up speed."

As if Ringo was some expert on motorcycles. Or roads. Or had been to Baltimore more than a couple of times.
