Mary received a message this morning that Portalocity's booking office had received her complaint about overbooking the hotel over Labor Day weekend, and she would be contacted by their team of investigators. "Well, it's about time," she grumbled to Gunther. "I was starting to think my complaint got re-routed through a portal to nowhere."

But when a group from Portalocity arrived a little bit later, Mary was taken aback. They were all gnomes.

"No, they're dwarves," Gunther insisted.

"No, they're gnomes. See the beards?" Mary said back.

"Dwarves have beards, too," replied Gunther.

Either way, the gnomes (dwarves?) rented the a handful of suites and standard rooms for the weekend with the promise that they would update Portalocity's records with an accurate account of the hotel's facilities. Mary figured it couldn't hurt, as long as she could keep Gunther from laughing when she mentioned that one of the gnomes ("No, dwarves!") would be staying in the Stripper Pole Suite.
