Around town, Friday, October 30th
The day dawned gray and sullen and got more unpromising from there. A steady drizzle began when classes did, the kind of rain that managed to drip down the back of everyone's shirt and into their shoes. Thunder began crashing around lunchtime, and by three o'clock it was almost impossible to see outside.
...it didn't help when lightning hit something important and the entire town was plunged into electricity-less gloom.
The island provided fireplaces in the common rooms and in the living quarters in town, but it was still shaping up to be a cold, clammy Halloween. Enjoy!
