Jessica was taking a break from her jail thoughts today to work on something a little different. She managed to get her hands on some SHIELD tech that could grant brief intangibility through mechanical means. She spent her morning recalibrating that on a dummy to provide a steady phased state.

Then the afternoon became about trying to short that out. Aside from just unplugging the tech, of course. Or waiting for the motor to die, which it eventually did. She wasn't able to come up with anything definite, but working out the principles did start her on another line of thought. If Kitty was visible, light was still able to hit her. What if something could be done to light to suppress powers in a person's genetic structure? Jessica was aware of similar concepts of power suppression, mostly used in the Sentinel camps during the Civil War in her world a couple years ago. But this would be less about having racist robots enslaving people and more about temporary power suppression.

And maybe that could be used for the most powerful criminals who attack Fandom....

It all came back around, and that meant Jessica would be dealing with tissue samples and theoretical genetics late into the night.

The shop was open. And it would continue to be open late.
