Work hadn't been much of a priority for Bellamy lately. With Clarke leaving, he'd stepped up his attempts to get home and had failed every single time. She'd left and she'd left him behind and wasn't that how it always went? He didn't have Octavia and now he didn't have his one connection to his home.
Work was something to distract him so he was here today, paging through a magazine and trying not to act as surly as he felt.

Point was, she was in Fandom. And, on another type of whim, she entered this particular establishment. And one of her eyebrows arched up when she saw who was behind the counter. "Oh, it's you. The island still hasn't let you go?"

Her people had no use for those.

"And are you going to ask?" she asked, as she held the blade up to see how it caught the light.

"How's life treating you, sweet thing," she asked for the doorway. Inside the doorway, because cold.

Look, she wasn't the kind of girl who did either side of the emotional comfort thing well, she knew her limitations. Distractions from your troubles? That she could do.

"You're here and that's a good enough distraction for me right now," he told her. "What's been going on with you?"

"It's not as fun if you actually need to share body heat," Isabela groused. "Unless you like the idea of chattering teeth near your soft bits?"
