Nothing unexpected or unusual was going on in the post office lobby this morning, and Éponine found this highly suspect to the point that she had a yardstick in one hand and kept casting wary glances around as she restocked customs forms and tidied up the counters.
Honestly, it was almost a relief when she went back into the storage room and found the cleaning supplies engaged in a standoff, brand versus brand.
"See that you don't make a mess," she told them sternly. "What kind of cleaning supplies are you, if you do?"
