Fandom Post Office, Tuesday (February 23)
With everything back to as close to normal as things ever got in Fandom, Éponine couldn't say she wasn't relieved . . . or that she wasn't at least a little bit amused whenever one of the usual customers along her route ducked out of sight or tried to avoid eye contact this week.
Making matters more awkward for them, probably, was how quiet the island was this week. Éponine at least tried to make them feel a little bit better by pretending not to pay them much mind, but trying to play games on her phone while she walked had proved to be somewhat painful.
So she saved that for when she was back at the post office instead, where she kept poking at the phone's screen and muttering about how the happy vegetables were mocking her.
