A week later and Vic had either finished or shredded/recycled the pile of paperwork that had piled up on her desk the last month. And as much as she wanted to take revenge on Ralph, Vic was forced to deal with phone calls from the previous weekend's weirdness.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am. I can't arrest your washer for stealing your clothing. It's an inanimate object."

Still better than being stuck in peanut brittle.
