Fandom Parking Lot, Wednesday Afternoon
With all the time spent in Limbo City and then hopping around, Dante hadn't really had the chance to give his bike some love lately. (And, okay, maybe remembering how he'd gotten the flashy red expensive-as-hell motorcycle to begin with was not really high on his priority list, either.)
It looked... kind of dusty. But at least that was something he could easily fix. And so Dante channeled no small amount of energy into wiping the thing down, almost reverently, as he contemplated the pros and cons of seeing if he could do a few wheelies around the bigger parking lot just across the way.
He probably would. He needed to stock up on drinks before they left here, because he was seriously out of cash.

When she spotted Dante, she hesitated for a moment. But he was messing with that motorcycle, so it wasn't like she could actually stop from going over to
needled him about how lame it was compared to AirTreksay hi.The high-pitched whine of ATs probably gave away her approach.
Re:
He didn't need to look up to know who it was.

She quirked an eyebrow at him. "Only cause you asked so nicely."

Uh huh. Yep.
She glanced over the bike curiously. "Been a while since you took it out, huh?"

She glanced at Dante. "Bet you're taking it all in stride." Like he did with most things.

He always rolled with it. He didn't come from a place where you didn't roll with things and still made it out alive.

She shrugged.

Eyeroll, Dante. Eyeroll.

He turned the key. The engine kicked on.

"Saw you dance that one time." So maybe that would work.

He pulled out of the lot onto the causeway. Slowly.

And since Dante wasn't gunning it, he must not mind the company, so Ringo leaned into a bit of acceleration and kept up with him on her ATs.

Whatever.
"Water under the bridge," he said, as his tires hit the causeway itself - because of course he had to pun about it. "Not much to fight here, anyway."
no subject
"I suppose that's true," she allowed absently. "No reason to go pick a fight in the bar or anything, right?"
no subject
He was pretty sure he could.

Sometimes Dante had really great ideas.
