Around Fandom, Friday Morning
Another Friday, another jump. The Ewoks had been throwing spears up at the island over the past day or so, and it was getting completely sick of the violent woodland creatures aesthetic. Poof, it went, vanishing into the ether with ethereal dignity, as if it had been carried off gently on the wings of innumerable angelic birds, and--
THUNK.
The island crashed down right off the main boulevard of a large junkyard city. It let out a metallic groan as it settled in place, uncomfortable as it tried to attach itself to the metal railings.
"Aw, what's that? It's obscuring the view!" yelled a passer-by with an eyepatch and a robot leg.
"What view?" snapped his companion, a charming lady with purple hair and approximately a hundred guns on her person.
"Oh, right."

But hey, there's oxygen here, there's neon signs and relentless corporate advertising making things, uh, fun (Youtube link), Moxxi's Up Over Bar is just a little bit down the boulevard and to the right, and at least when all the locals grump at you, it's in a charming Australian accent. So it could be worse!
We're not sure how, but it could.
Screw Concordia, We're Going To The Moon!
If you manage to sit through the screaming, lecturing video they show you as an, uh, educational tool, you will be given an oxygen helmet and tank. You can go out onto the surface of Elpis, where hopefully you will manage to survive for at least ten minutes.
The gravity is so low that one bound can send you soaring thirty feet into the air. There are cracks in the purple earth everywhere, causing lava to pour out. There are things trying to kill you around every corner.
If you're lucky, you can make it to one of the Catch-A-Ride stations alive, which will craft a large vehicle for you to drive around and shoot in. Which is sure to help you out when you get into the inevitable gun fight with crazed scavengers, angry mercenaries, and/or Elpis's deadly local wildlife.
Good luck! Hope you watched that instruction video! The management is compelled to tell you the environmental details start at 7:20 but the rest is JUST AS RELEVANT!
