"Okay," Kanan said as he made his way into Luke's for his shift. "I have a new rule today. Anything you guys want me to taste, one of you has to taste first."
There was a pause. A few members of the serving staff exchanged glances. The cook tried not to look too devilishly pleased.
"And no toothpaste."
And now there was a groan of dismay. Ruin all their fun, Kanan, would you?

Prawn Salad with Mango and Avocado
Rhubarb Fool with Whipped Cream and Gingersnaps
No taste-testing shenanigans today. But Kanan was going to spend a good chunk of the afternoon side-eyeing the dessert and wondering if a 'rhubarb fool' was an actual dessert name, or if the staff was just messing with him.
