Peridot raised an eyebrow that she hoped was both eloquent and a little degrading as a customer walked in and deposited a box on the counter, full to the brim with electronics that were covered in some manner of sticky sweet, dark golden substance. Clearly, those electronics weren't working, now.
"I'm Canadian," the customer explained with a shrug of his shoulders. "Sorry."
And then he walked out, leaving Peridot to try to deal with the mess.
It was going to be one of those days.
