The kitchen staff at Luke's was feeling extra... musical, today. And Kanan was left kind of side-eyeing them as the day went on.
"R-E-S-P-E-C-T!" The busboy cried out into the diner.
"JUST WANNA HAVE FUN," the cook answered, not one to be outdone.
Kanan just covered his ears with a sigh and sat himself down. He had no idea what was going on, it seemed like everybody was sober, even, and he was beginning to learn that on Sundays, it was better to just not ask.
Today's Specials:
Grilled Chicken with Fresh Grape Glaze
Radish and Arugula Crostini with Brie
Key Lime Pie
If anybody needed Kanan, he had procured a set of earplugs from... somewhere... and was occupying himself with a slice of the pie.
A third slice of the pie.
It was damn good pie.
