Mary had been sad to miss the picnic on Monday, but ~~her player had worked a double shift~~ she had gone into cleaning mode over the weekend. Once she got started, she didn't stop until she had cleaned ALL the things. And the hotel was full of things that needed to be cleaned. But now she was relaxing behind the front desk, which was currently covered with stacks of freshly-cleaned and folded towels and sheets. All the surfaces in the lobby were gleaming, the light fixtures were sparkling, and even Gunther's chef's jacket and toque were a bright white as he came out of the kitchen with a fresh pot of coffee. All was right in Mary's world today... until Gunther spilled the coffee. With a sigh, Mary got to work cleaning up the spilled coffee.
