Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday Morning to Afternoon, The Park
The sky was clear and the temperature was nice, and the park was once again filled with tables and, hopefully, parents. After all, there was so much brunch food waiting for them, it would be a shame to let it go to waste. There was also a table exclusively for mimosas. Thanks, Frank. Also on that table were cards reading "If You Want Anything Harder Than Mimosas, Talk To Frank Doyle." It was probably a joke or something. Don't worry about it, just sit back, sip your mimosas, and do what the big glittery banner said:
HEY PARENTS: HAVE SOME FOOD!
HEY PARENTS: HAVE SOME FOOD!

Mingle! [PW '16]
Re: Mingle! [PW '16]
He grabbed a mimosa for himself and one for his mom and stood off to the side with her, chatting half-heartedly about which of the students he knew and liked while Monica judged them.

Uh-huh.

She did not try to lower her volume because there were kids around and her language was extremely colorful. Sorry.
Re: Mingle! [PW '16]
"Kuzco!" she called. "You have to acknowledge my presence."
Re: Mingle! [PW '16]
That was the pot calling the kettle overdramatic.

"Because she has taste?" Rhys, no. WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?
Re: Mingle! [PW '16]
Ew.
Re: Mingle! [PW '16]
YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELF, RHYS.

Food & Drink! [PW '16]
There's also, as previously mentioned, mimosas. Alcohol for brunch! What will they think of next? Alcohol for breakfast? We can only hope.
Re: Food & Drink! [PW '16]
A hungry, hungry pig.
Spider-Ham loved buffets.
Re: Food & Drink! [PW '16]
In the meantime, he was here, he had two bagels and zero plates to put them on, and he was ready to enjoy a nice day. Unless it turned out to be a bad day, with confusing ups and downs and an unfortunately bleak, but not jaded resolution. Sometimes those days happened and bagels were a good cure for them.
Re: Food & Drink! [PW '16]
Yeah, there was no way in hell Dante wasn't showing up for a Frank-run buffet. Especially since his weekend was working out pretty well.
He snagged two mimosas and then went hunting for food.
Re: Food & Drink! [PW '16]
He'd also grabbed one mimosa, just to try it. Just one was wasn't that bad, surely.

RE: Re: Re: Tables [PW '16 ]
This all came out perfectly friendly and conversational, obviously.
"So what's up? They're actually letting you near high school?"
Re: Re: Re: Tables [PW '16 ]
What was up with that shit?
RE: Re: Re: Re: Tables [PW '16 ]
Weasel's expression was the definition of eesh.
"Does Vanessa know about it? Did you knock her up?"
Re: Re: Re: Re: Tables [PW '16 ]
Which made sense to him.

Had he actually bothered to track down Wade yet? Did it matter, considering he'd spent the weekend eating free food?
Re: Tables [PW '16 ]
Ada swatted at his hands, defending her breakfast. "Fuck off, Duncan, 'm allowed one mimosa as a treat f'r puttin' up with your mothering."
"Both of you stop." Was it too early for Whiskey? Chester was starting to think it wasn't too early for whiskey. "Duncan, let Ada have her drink. Ada, stop needling Duncan on purpose."

After all, he only did one double-take over the pig.
