Fandom Post Office, January 3 (Tuesday)
Éponine had not changed out the calendars in the lobby at the end of last week, out of a sudden, half-random fit of stubbornness: it was a day or two too early to do so, and that was silly.
When she came around the post office today to replace them? She ended up hanging the new calendars, and sweeping up little piles of ash from the floors and counters beneath where the old ones had been.
"Oh, well," she told no one in particular. "That's less room taken up in the paper bin, isn't it?"
