There was a blizzard in the freezer at Luke's.
An actual, zero visibility, gusting winds sending packages of frozen goods flying through the door whenever somebody opened it, blizzard. In the freezer at Luke's.
Naturally this meant that the staff was calling Kanan whenever they needed somebody to go in there to get basically anything. Not because they didn't like him and they wanted him to waste away in a situation not unlike the surface of Hoth (though Kanan suspected as much anyway), but more because he just seemed to be better at doing freezer stuff in general than most of them were.
"Fine," Kanan sighed. "But if I run into any polar bears in that mess, you're going to have to find a way to make do with whatever's already in the kitchen."

Whatever's already in the kitchen.
Please ignore the polar bear by the counter, he's just warming up.
