Peter noticed the sign on the way in, and...huh. Yeah, Valentine's Day was a thing, wasn't it?
He added a line under the countdown: We deliver! It was a small island, after all. Why not?
Then he got in and saw Shiemi's note. He frowned.
An hour later, having checked the entire cooler and finally found the source, he frowned at them, hands on his hips. "What's your problem?"
They weren't answering, so he left Shiemi a note in turn: We seem to have some hostile dahlias. See if you can talk them around? Otherwise I guess we'll just keep them quarantined until they wilt. He didn't have the heart to throw out something that had feelings, but he wasn't going to sell them, either.
He spent the rest of the shift working on bouquets, small and large, mostly involving roses. Since there was that day coming up.
