Luke's, Sunday
Kanan had put some serious consideration into just not coming in to work today. The fact that he was clearly not the only person on the island who had been afflicted with a serious case of body dysphoria this weekend was basically the only reason he was sucking it up and heading in for his shift at Luke's.
Back in his own galaxy, what with being on the run and all, being in the completely wrong body might almost be a blessing in disguise. Here it was disturbing and inconvenient. And he had to wear Hera's clothes, which fit him just nearly enough to still annoy him whenever they pulled oddly or squished at something they weren't supposed to. And mostly he just wanted to stay at home and wrestle with his dog until this went away.
Instead, he figured he'd do the next best thing:
Today's Specials:
Desserts.
Any and all desserts.
And if the cook decided to put his time into making pancakes instead of brownies or something fruity and with entirely too much whipped cream on it, Kanan was going to knock the damn stack of pancakes over on top of him personally.
[OOC: OCD is for people less lazy than I am, but so totally open.]

Very nearly. But here he was. With some kind of strawberry and cream concoction in front of himself that, let's be real, he'd be eating today even if he wasn't currently in a weirdly feminine body.

He paused, and then added, "But thanks. The hair's not so bad."
There was actually a bit more of it than even he was used to. That was kind of impressive. And now he was squinting a little.
"... Steve?"
He only knew so many blondes, weirdly enough.

He waved a hand around.
"Weird. Just when I think I have a handle on how weird this place can get, it goes and pulls something like this."

He was pretty sure this was as close to 'getting into Hera's pants' that he was going to ever be.

Sorry, Tony.

Sorry, Kanan. That meant you got a very smug (and very butch) Eliot in the diner today.
"Hey darlin'," he greeted, grabbing a seat at the counter and folding his arms over his (very firmly bound in sports bras, ugh) chest. "Thought this place usually served pancakes on Sundays."

Or bury somebody alive under them. Which was practically the same thing.
"This weekend is a dessert weekend. I've decided." He paused and added, "and so help me, it isn't darlin'."
He almost actually preferred 'kid.'

"On a scale from 'inexplicable bead rain' to 'being turned into a tooka,' this is way farther down the tooka end than it has any right to be," he sighed. "And I think I'll still take this over being turned into a kid again. That doesn't mean I'm enjoying it at all."

Because that was the important detail of that explanation.

It was much better at being cute about it than, say, a nexu or a fyrnock was, though.

Kanan wasn't well-read enough on Earth lore to even begin to guess, really.

[very late, but I couldn't resist.]

Puberty had been kind to him, in regards to height. Even when Master Billaba had taken him in as her Padawan, he'd been a shorty. And then he'd grown. Plenty.
"You being...?"
He'd been pretty good at guessing so far today, but he was slightly at a loss with this one, so far. And he wasn't about to go poking around with the Force just to see if she (she?) rang a bell that way instead.
[RIGHT ON TIME.]

He fired off a little salute, not about to climb up there just to be on handshake level.
"Good to meet you, Parker."

"I'm having about as much fun with my new boobs as a guy currently stuck at work can possibly have," he shared. "Which mostly means that I'm just thankful Hera had something I could wear so that I'm not holding up my pants all day because my belt doesn't fasten tight enough to keep them up."

He looked down.
"... In the wrong place."
