Mothers Day was next weekend, and Peter had a ton of bouquets and orders to get through; most people seemed to just order plain things, which at least made it faster going.
Then there was the current person on the phone.
"No, ma'am. I'm sorry, ma'am; that's how the cards come, I can't reprint them. I'm sorry 'mother' is singular possessive instead of plural. I've got some with no apostrophe, and I can draw it in?"
