Fandom Post Office, May 16 (Tuesday)
The post office smelled strongly of citrus today, for no reason whatsoever that Éponine could figure out.
She supposed she didn't mind so much; god knew it could have smelled much worse, and she'd quite had her fill of that for several lifetimes, thank you. The small piles of translucent glitter in the corners of the lobby, however . . .
Well, she didn't especially mind those, either. Around this place, one had to just be resigned to the glitter. Or occasionally sprinkle bits of it in one's hair, as she eventually ended up doing.
