Kira was really excited to be at the shelter today, at least in part because it meant she got to see the few bunnies who were left again. Her resolve to not take them home with her was weakening, but she figured she could at least wait and see if anyone else adopted them today first. If not, well, who was she to ignore a clear sign?

Speaking of signs, she took the sign advertising the chickens and decorated it a little, trying to make it stand out. "Don't worry, someone is going to love you guys," she said as she put the sign back in the window. Maybe free eggs would lure people in?
