Jalian had been procrastinating. It wasn't much like her, but this was a big thing - she needed to go back and stop Armageddon. Portalocity couldn't get her where she needed to go, but they could get her back to where she came from. And she now had a functional Doorway.
It had nearly killed her the first time, though, so she was determined to make it a little easier this time if she could.
Fortunately, she had more than just Corvichi technology on her side this time.
She made another adjustment. "How's that, JARVIS?"
She'd be there to help if anyone needed repairs, but otherwise she was occupied.
