The Perk, Wednesday afternoon
Eliot could not for the life of him tell you how he'd ended up wearing a cowboy hat and bolo tie when he and Val stopped in at the Perk for a mid-afternoon treat. It was more than a little disconcerting, he didn't mind telling you, especially since the last time he'd involuntarily worn something like this he'd been dropped into a weird wild west computer simulation.
Judging by the way the baristas were giggling at him from behind the counter, though, this seemed more benign than that. So he just resigned himself to being just a little extra country just now and placed his order.
Could be worse. He could be a wolverine. Or a woman. Or having an uncontrollable urge to call everyone "cocksucker".
This island, man.
[open! Had to get this boy out here somewhere for random icon fun.]

Some days, that was the worst that Kanan had to deal with.
Apparently the worst that Kanan had to deal with today was random breasts again, but those were a new addition. He hadn't woken up with them. They'd just kind of happened on his way to the Perk in order to get coffee, because he needed coffee in order to deal with his inability to make caf.
"Is anybody else having one of those days, or is it just me?"

"Dammit, Fandom."

Look at those baby cheeks!

He looked up at the ceiling, hand still at his chin.
"So, any idea what the hell is going on here? Normally the island is a little more, uh, decisive about its weirdness."

She had ears again.

"Huh. At least your clothes fit you this time?"
Yeah, that was the best he had. He was still boggling.

Unfortunately, as he opened the door, he was suddenly teenaged, and unless the baristas spoke Byzantine Greek, there wasn't much chance of getting any.
But he was still grinning around at everyone; this was a nifty place!

He had no idea what about him was setting him off. Maybe just that he didn't recognize him?

"Sorry man," he told the kid. "One of those days. If you ain't actually new here, you probably know what I mean."

And, of course, no sooner had she walked through the door was she struck with a sudden fear of coffee. Like, legit, terrified, but at least she had a security blanket to cringe up close to as she looked around wide eyed and murmured, "Ohmygod, whaaaaaaaaaaat am I doing here???"
no subject
"Alright, darlin'. You're okay. Far as I can tell, this'll pass real fast, today."
no subject
Before she started to fear it again. That would be tragic.
no subject
"Right," he said, giving her a double barreled eyebrow raise. "Because clearly coffee is going to help with this."
no subject
A bowl of which she randomly, suddenly, inexplicably had. And took a handful of, before offering it out.
"Want some?"
