The waters surrounding the island, all day Friday

The clouds were gathering, the wind was picking up, and rain was starting to fall across the island by mid-afternoon.

And surrounding the island, hiding among the increasingly violent waves...were sharks. Dozens of them. Really mouthy ones.

"Jeffffff--" they taunted. "Where's the money, Jeff, ol' pal, ol' chum?"

"It's really shellfish of ya not to cough it up!"

"Don't flounder around now. Give us the cash!"

[OOC: Open for all of your gawking and shark-taunting needs!]

Jenkins had been planning to take a leisurely afternoon stroll along the beach today, despite the building wind and rain -- or possibly, specifically because of them. He did so enjoy a good storm.

And so he found himself in the position to overhear the pun-filled taunts coming from the circling fins.

He popped a handful of raisinets in his mouth thoughtfully.

"Well," he said. "That is foreboding."
