Around the island, Sunday night

Against most laws of physics and common sense, the "throwing frozen sharks into the eye of a hurricane" idea actually worked, and Hurricane Finley disappated, leaving nothing behind on the island but a literal ton of shark carcasses, storm damage, and the distant sound of a meteorologist sobbing about how none of this should have worked.

Bonfire on the beach tomorrow, anyone?

The winds died down, the rain petered off, and eventually all they were left with was a quiet, dark house (and a porch full of flamingos). Hannibal opened the porch door for the birds, slung on his coat, and headed out.

There were people to inform - he fully intended to cook shark tomorrow.
