Well, her store had survived relatively unscathed, in that no giant sharks had gotten flung into it, but there were still signs of the hurricane everywhere. One window had broken and a bunch of detritus had gotten blown into the building. And Poppy, the giant metal rooster she still didn't understand, had somehow gotten covered with gross stuff and needed a good cleaning.

So after she'd called a glass company on the mainland to make an appointment to replace the broken window, Kathy pulled out her cleaning supplies, pulled back her hair, and got to work on cleaning the place up. Ah, the glamorous job of a business-owner.
