Turtle & Canary; Saturday [1021].
With all these people in town right now, Amaya thought it would be wise to spend some time in the shop and, you know, actually sell things, though she kind of hoped what they might really need were some swords sharpened or some armor hammered out. Meanwhile, she was having Apu explain to her exactly what a homecoming was in this context.
"You mean these people are going back to see people they knew when they were younger?" she asked. "On purpose?"
He confirmed that, yes, it was entirely on purpose.
"This is an island for crazy people, isn't it?" she asked. "I've landed myself on a crazy person island."
And that was meant as a joke, but as she said it, it made her a little sad. Crazy people probably shouldn't have weapons.
Not that it ever stopped them before in her experience...
