Homecoming Brunch, The Park, Sunday Morning

Hope you didn't think you were going to escape the glitter or the seashells, Fandom, because there was plenty of both decorating the picnic tables and surrounding area.  Gold streamers decorated the trees, while glitter almost seemed to float in the air, and the weather was absolutely perfect.

It's time for the Homecoming Brunch, the last official event of the 2017 Fandom High Homecoming.

[OOC:   Up early for great timezone & SP justice.  Please hold for OCD.]

Leto knew Fandom well enough that giving in to glitter was the only route available, and he didn't really mind. Hania didn't mind at all, and was by now more or less covered in it, and she still wore the hairclips form yesterday.

"No challenging people to duels, or threatening to stab them," Leto told his daughter sternly. "Help yourself to some food instead."

Xanthippe had been aiming to come back for the dance, but like everything else lately, that plan hadn't really gone her way. She'd just been trying to escape the misery that was her college experience! (And what did it say about her life that she tried to do so here? Ugh.)

She looked kind of grumpy as she wandered around, trying to spot people she knew. Even vaguely. And who preferably weren't Deadpool.

Warren was giving that glitter a mighty side-eye, yes.

If it got into the food, he was out of here. Maybe he'd go eat at Cafe Fina, instead.

Bobby was going to be picking glitter out of his and Charlotte's clothes for years, he was sure. But he didn't mind terribly much. God, he'd missed this place.

Bob didn't have to worry about glitter. He was possibly a little smug about that.

And still looking around and watching people. He'd get his kicks where he could.
solarhippie: ([pos] Sounds like a fun idea.)

Karolina was still glittered up from last night, and you know what? She was perfectly fine with it.

And she was piling up her plate with all the vegetarian options in the buffet. Food was a great thing, and food she hadn't had to cook herself was even greater.

Breq hadn't particularly enjoyed the dance, but she hadn't disliked it either. She still wasn't used to actually participating at social events, and preferred watching people from her table, while eating food that wasn't adapted for someone wearing gloves. It was quite good, not that that was important, she told herself.

Ugh, why was morning so karking bright?

Cade dragged his hungover self to the shadiest spot he could find and tried to go back to sleep.

Reno wouldn't be Reno if he wasn't kicked back and making himself comfortable at one of the picnic tables, facing out the wrong way and leaning back on his elbows. People-watching was still one of his favourite things to do around here. Hell, he'd kind of missed it.

But, shit, he had places he needed to be. He'd miss this place. Always kinda did. But he'd be perfectly happy with moving along once this weekend was through, too. At least for now.
