Today, Apu was introducing Amaya to the Milk Ladies, and Amaya, so help her, was absolutely transfixed.
"So they just come in and go through every single milk carton trying to find the one with the latest expiration date?"
"Yes, that is correct."
"...but they all have the same date."
"Yes, that is also correct."
"How long before they realize that fact?"
"Not until every last carton of milk has been removed from the cooler."
Amaya truly had no words.
"Be careful with that one," Apu added with a nod before going back to sweeping. "That one does not even put them back."
"Zounds! Animals!"
