Furnado Animal Shelter; Thursday, 11/16.
It appeared that Sidon had a little furry admirer.
At first, he thought perhaps he was being followed, feeling that someone was watching him as he went about his daily duties at the shelter (carefully, though, as not to ruin his pretty manicure from yesterday). But whenever he turned around, no one was there. Until one time he turned around, and no one was there, but there was a quiet little pathetic meow vying for his attention.
That's when he looked down and saw the smallest of the kittens he had been playing with last week looking up at him plaintively and meowed again. And once Sidon had recovered from being a totally gooey mush from the cuteness of this little guy, he spent the rest of the day with the kitten either tagging along behind him or riding on his shoulder, meowing along conversationally and sometimes licking Sidon's ear-flap fin thingys.
When lunchtime came around, though, Sidon did start to suspect that maybe the kitten was only in it because Sidon would share some of his fishy lunch with the little guy.
