Kitty had maybe forgotten Hanukkah started today until she started finding food in drawers. In her defense, she was trying to run a school in New York with very little help, in addition to keeping up with stuff here, and she was under a tiny bit of stress. And for a few years she’d gotten the other Jewish superheroes together for a dinner, but this year that was... not happening, given everything. So, maybe she’d bypass this holiday and hope things were better by Christmas. Or New Year’s. Maybe the Fouryh of July.

But hey, she was here, and eating a plate of latkes at the bar.
