Okay, no more holidays. Good. Puppies and kittens were still kind of trickling in. Less good. Zack frowned a little as he looked at the playpen he'd set up in the lobby for the puppies, full of little wigglebottoms that wanted nothing more than to be played with.
...
And then, to hell with it, he stepped into the playpen himself and took a seat.
There were worse ways to spend a Tuesday than being seated on the floor, being tackled from all directions by dogs.
There was a Now Hiring sign in the window, displayed as prominently as Zack could get it, with the kittens strategically placed nearby so that anybody walking past would have to notice one in order to ogle the other. He was a sneaky boy, that Zack Fair.
