There were boxes upon boxes around the store today. Actually they had been there for a week or so now. Taako was too lazy to open up new shipments at this point. He'd just be up front reading gossip rags.

"Hey, what are all these boxes of?"

Taako shrugged, looking at Magnus over his US Weekly. "I assume things Garfield wants me to put away."

Which Magnus took as permission to snoop around in them. "Better not be another body."

[taakosgoodhere]

"You really think somebody would try that again?" he asked. "There are much worthier bodies, I'm sure."

[magnusrushesin]

"Hey, my body is great! I have a beautiful body." And he was full of self-affirmations.

Taako wrinkled his nose. "Maybe it's an acquired taste."

[magnusrushesin]

It was. And also an off the market taste.

"Do I get to keep stuff if I help put it away?"

[taakosgoodhere]

"Wait, how would you put away the stuff and keep it at the same time?" he asked.

[magnusrushesin]

"...it could live here until I need it?" Did that work? He felt it worked.

Taako contemplated that for a moment. "I guess that's alright."

[magnusrushesin]

"Yes! I hope there's a magic hat that gives me extra armor," Magnus said, cheerfully digging into the box nearest to him.

"I hope it's a fedora."

[magnusrushesin]

"That's just mean," Magnus replied, moving packing peanuts aside.
