Amaya knew better to expect too many quiet days at the shop, but this place never really failed to throw her off.
"Are those penguins in the frozen food aisle?"
He took a moment to look. "Yes, Miss Amaya, it appears so."
"What are they doing there?"
"Well, Miss Amaya," he said, "it seems as though they are shopping."
"Since when have we had penguins here?"
But Apu just sadly shook his head, tsking in disapproval. "And it is because of people like you, Miss Amaya," he said reproachfully, "that Penguin Awareness Day is so important."
