Trooper Station; Monday [03/05].

There were two squirrels on Rosa's desk, chittering away at her, and, silly her, she thought they might actually be trying to help her with the case. It didn't take her long to realize that this was not the case, narrowing her eyes at their wild gestures, their tiny rodent paws, their excitedly twitching tails.

"Wait," she held up her own hand, "someone said that? About me? On your weird little radio thing?"

Excitedly, they nodded their heads, chittering some more.

"Who is this again?" she asked, having no idea what they were even doing, until one of them stopped the string of chittering so that he could pantomime something out. The squirrel cleared his throat, straightened his shoulders in straight posture, and then pretended that he was holding a cup of tea in a saucer, lifting it up regally as he took a sip, one of his little squirrel fingers extended out as much as it could like a pinkie, and that made it crystal clear.

"Ugh," Rosa made a face, "that stupid tea snob at the coffee shop?" And then she got irritated, "Why the hell would I even care about that? Get the hell of my desk and stop wasting my time! I don't want a single squirrel near me unless it's about a)stolen nuts or b)burning billboards, you got that?"

Pounding her hands on the desk effectively made them scurry, as one of them chittered particularly loudly that the stupid tea snob maybe has a point.

"OUT!" she shouted after them, and then, a second later, plopping down and scowling at her desk, added, "How the hell did I even understand that?"
